OK GOT-OC hikers. it's time for us to put a little distance into our hikes. On the other hand, this is a flat paved trail that only has rises or drops the first and last couple hundred yards. I've never been on this trail with the group so it will be a new experience for at least some of us.
This will be about a 5.7 mile flat hike for us to start building up a little endurance. Definitely an easy hike when it comes to difficulty. We will be moving out shortly after 9 AM and should be done within 2 hours easily. We will probably push the pace a little since the route is an asphalt trail.
I took a look at the map that Meetup provides and it is very accurate. We can park along the street on Eastbluff and gather at the Vista Point landmark which is right at the corner of Eastbluff and Back Bay Drive. it's suppposed to be a bright clear morning, but probably a little on the cool side since we are hiking along the Back Bay, so please bring your water, sun protection, and light sweater if you feel the need.
Let's Get Out There, Orange County - and hike along the trails we drive by every day.
