In & Out Park Walk...and/or Lunch

Join us in walking through lovely Craig Park, which offers wide paths and relaxing views to start your weekend. This is a nice walk with some short hills with easy recovery (appx 3.4 miles). Well-behaved dogs welcome!

Meet & Greet: 9:30am    Begin walk: 9:40am     

Lunch afterwards at Cha Cha's Latin Kitchen in Brea appx 11:25am.  Meet in bar area as you walk in. **Coming for lunch only?  Please note in comments.

Happy Hour specials 11:30am-7pm on Saturdays at ChaCha's, 110 W Birch St #7, Brea. (across from the movie theater). Easy parking in structure behind theater, or park in the shopping center behind near Cost Plus / Corner Bakery and just take the walkway between to venue.   Cha Cha's website here

**Cancellation due to weather will be posted by 8am.  Please check site if you are unsure. 

PATH:

• Start: Top of State College & Bastanchury in parking lot below Summit House (meet near oil derrick)

• Cross State College, and go down Bastanchury towards Associated (sidewalks)

• Go up Associated to back end of Craig Park. Enter near dam, and walk to the right (reverse of our usual CP walk)

• We'll loop the park, enjoying the view, and go up the horse trail to State College, and continue back to parking lot.  Of course, optional lunch if those would like afterwards!

PARKING & INFO: Park in the flat lot below the Summit House restaurant.  You will see the oil derrick on the corner of State College and Bastanchury.  Please keep any valuables out of sight in your car, and always have personal ID/emergency contact info on you during these walks.

Leaders and members participating in this walk do so voluntarily.  Our group is very accommodating of all levels of fitness, but by attending, walkers assume any risk of participation, and must have awareness of their physical abilities.
