Happy Hour at Kabuki Japanese Restaurant

Let's get started for the holiday weekend and return to Kabuki Japanese Restaurant for Happy Hour!

"Welcome to Kabuki Japanese Restaurant, the people behind sushi for all mankind. Never tried sushi or Japanese cuisine? Try us and we guarantee you will walk out hooked on our food. That’s what we do best; making non-believers into believers that Japanese cuisine is the new comfort food.

When you walk into a Kabuki you won’t be overwhelmed with Asian decor and music. What you will encounter is a casual atmosphere with today’s hottest music playing, people smiling and our friendly staff welcoming you through the doors. Look for the Red Mask. Come Eat & Drink. Have Fun."

A recent addition to the Irvine Spectrum dining experience, join us for Happy Hour at Kabuki Japanese Restaurant.  I have arranged for the patio to be reserved for our group.  Check out their great happy hour prices at www.kabukirestaurants.com.  Not a big sushi fan?  There are plenty of options for the faint of heart.  Hope to see you there!

Thank You Elizabeth. I had a very nice evening. I appreciate that you take the time to be an organizer . I am new at this so reading all the comments has made me better aware of the importance of accurate RSVP! Thanks again

Still waitlisted even though people dropped out.

Elizabeth, I HAVE hosted events as an assistant organizer. There are settings where you can make it so that when people drop out they are automatically replaced by others. I kept seeing people drop off the list but no one was included as a replacement after your arbitrary cut-off date. Those were the settings that YOU created. Furthermore, it isn't necessary to be hostile. If you didn't like a comment that was simply a statement of the situation, perhaps you shouldn't host in the future. Your anger is entirely misplaced.

There was nothing arbitrary about my decision to cut-off the event. I am well aware of the settings and chose them with intent. If you don't like how I manage my events, perhaps YOU shouldn't attend in the future. This isn't the first time you have micro-managed one of my events but it will be the last.

I think once the rsvp closes, no changes can be made which is why Julie couldn't change and no one moved up from wait list?? Think that is reason. I have hosted events too but don't any longer for the reasons you mentioned Elizabeth and appreciate that you are one of the few organizers who still does. Thank you!!

Hi Elizabeth, I wanted to let you know I was one of the no- shows.... and, I'm new to this, so I tried to take off my rsvp, but couldn't do it. No excuse... I know. I am very technologically challenged. I saw your note, and I wanted to apologize for not showing up, but I had a last minute emergency. I know that you and the other organizers go to a lot of work to set these up, and you are very much appreciated. We have not met, but I wanted to thank you anyway.

No worries Julie...I did see that you posted that you could not attend earlier today and I was not including you in the ones who were no-shows. We do understand last minute issues and whether you post a comment or change your RSVP, that is sufficient to give hosts a heads up. So thank you for letting me know and hope to meet you at another event in the future.

Thanks to the members who attended tonight, it was a pleasure seeing everyone. The wait staff were a little overwhelmed but the food was good despite the wait some experienced. Hope everyone had a nice time!

Hello everyone. I am a single female in the OC. My kids are grown and out of state. Have lived in Orange County for a long time and am ashamed to say I haven't utilized what it offers. Want to change that. Want to see the sights!
