Hometown: New York
June 21, 2006
Been sailing big boats for over ten years.
I think I once took a basic keel boat class but I'm not sure what I learned other than how to pick up the mooring without an engine. Sailing is pretty simple. Keep the water on the outside of the boat, the people on the inside of the boat, and stay away from the big guys.
I own a Bavaria 33 which I sail out of Shelter Island. I've chartered in the BVIs and Belize. Here she is: http://www.swiftyachts.com/SollaSollew.html
I am looking to crew in the NYC area and for crew for trips further east and ESPECIALLY down to the islands this winter.
I am interested in racing on non spinnaker boats committed to finishing in the back of the pack. Distance racing especially.
