The best place to see the Sausalito Lighted Boat Parade is from a boat in the parade. On Saturday night we will sail in the parade and then afterward our entire crew is invited to to the Sausalito Yacht Club to watch the fireworks and dance to a great band the 7th Sons. This is a great oportunity because this is a "members and guests" event at the SYC that always sells out. Because of the popularity of this event, I will ask you to confirm your reservation with paypal within 24 hours of signing up.
We will meet at the Sausalito Yacht Harbor at 4:00 p.m. and sail in the parade returning to the SYH afterward. Please plan on parking in the Sausalito Municipal Lot #3, just off of Bridgeway and remember to bring my cell phone number with you (I will email it to you) to help us meet up.
Our boat theme is "A Sock Monkey Christmas", so if you happen to have sock monkey hat, attire, or decorations please bring them along. A santa hat or reindeer antlers also add to the festive look. Dress to impress.
It gets cool on the water at night, so please bring a sweater and a jacket, and wear non-marking soled shoes.
I have ginger ale and bottled water on board. Please bring a snack to share and whatever beverage you prefer - No RED wine, blueberries, or other things that stain.
Willin' is a big, modern, safe, well-equipped, well-maintained yacht with full electronics and instrumentation. We will enjoy a safe, comfortable sail. I will control the RSVP and waiting lists to ensure that we have a good mix of newbies and experienced sailors.
There will be a short orientation to get you familiar with the boat and safety procedures prior to our departure.
Your forty-dollar donation will help to defray costs.
We have had some incredible outings in the past:
OK, let's go have some fun.
