And now we sail...
How would you describe your sailing experience? At the end of your description include a title for yourself (look at other profiles, or the about page for ideas)
After spending some portion of most of my weekends over the past year at gotwaw meetups and other sailing events, I've come to think of myself as a "veteran newbie." I've even been happily holding up the rail (and once in a while even a line or a winch handle!) in enough races now, that I actually know a lot of the lingo, too. I'm super eager to keep sailing and keep learning, so if you are willing to bark cheap orders at me... I will always do my best to follow them.
What type boats have you sailed on - or dream of sailing on? What sort of sailing do you do? Cruising, racing, beercans, YRA . . . Transpac??
Mostly Willin' (30' Catalina), Ohana (45' Beneteau), and Feral (Calkins 40) so far...
If you are a private boat owner -- please describe your vessel in as much detail as you can.
