How would you describe your sailing experience? At the end of your description include a title for yourself (look at other profiles, or the about page for ideas)

I have a great deal of experience in boat handling and I would welcome the opportunity to share my knowledge with others. I have a 500 ton USCG Masters license (1600 ton Mate) for power/ steam vessels with a 100 ton Aux. sail endorsement with basic/advanced firefighting and RADAR unlimited.

What type boats have you sailed on - or dream of sailing on? What sort of sailing do you do? Cruising, racing, beercans, YRA . . . Transpac??

Mostly SF Bay and lake sailing. Some beer can racing. I try to sail in the "Great San Francisco Schooner" race every year as well.

If you are a private boat owner -- please describe your vessel in as much detail as you can.

19' RIB, a J24 and 3 Lasers (it is a sickness of mine)

Do you have any US sailing or ASA certificates? Do you bareboat charter?

I had 4 ASA instructor ratings but they have expired. (bummer)...

Are you disabled or have limited mobility? You'll be welcomed, but it's very important for skippers to know ahead of time to keep everyone safe while sailing (you included).

No restrictions

Local Bay area sailor who is a transplant from New England. I have sailing since I was 12 and continue to enjoy getting out as much as I can
