How would you describe your sailing experience? At the end of your description include a title for yourself (look at other profiles, or the about page for ideas)

I've been sailing since I was 14, which was a long time ago. Have owned a Santana 27, raced the bay and ocean for decades, cruised in Greece and Tahiti, delivered boats in Mexico and Fiji-NZ, raced the Pacific Cup and three HaHas—oops out of space...

What type boats have you sailed on - or dream of sailing on? What sort of sailing do you do? Cruising, racing, beercans, YRA . . . Transpac??

All sorts, from a 14' Aqua Cat on a lake to Sorcery, an 80' maxi to a 120' Windjammer. Have raced Newport 30s, Thunderbirds, J 24s, Santana 27s, Catalina 30s and 34s, Pearson 32s. Did the Pac Cup on a Gibsea 43, Tahiti on an Endeavor 37, Pac Cup on Islander 36, Erickson 25, big luxury catamaran, and Cooper 42. Mexico on a Norsea 53. Would love to sail via Galapagos to the Marquesas and beyond, and plan to do as many more Haja Haha races as I can.

If you are a private boat owner -- please describe your vessel in as much detail as you can.

Do you have any US sailing or ASA certificates? Do you bareboat charter?

Are you disabled or have limited mobility? You'll be welcomed, but it's very important for skippers to know ahead of time to keep everyone safe while sailing (you included).

I sometimes find myself standing in front of the World Cruising section of the book department at West Marine with my eyes glazed over swaying as I dream of islands not yet seen. This photo was taken in Tahiti, where life was simpler.
