Introduction

Returning to sailing, just finished some classes, and am enthusiastic about getting out on the bay.

How would you describe your sailing experience? At the end of your description include a title for yourself (look at other profiles, or the about page for ideas)

I took dinghy and keelboat classes in Santa Cruz and did some sailing on west marines 42' research boat in the early nineties, and recently completed some US Sailing classes. I am not an old salt, but I have taken some good classes and am getting all the sailing hours I can.

What type boats have you sailed on - or dream of sailing on? What sort of sailing do you do? Cruising, racing, beercans, YRA . . . Transpac??

Ive sailed on dinghys, keelboats, cruisers, and a few others. Most of my experience is with sailboats, but I can pilot a RIB as well. Overall I am more interested in day sailing on the bay and checking out local sites.

No boat yet. Contact me if you're thinking of selling a 27' to 32' sailboat. A Catalina 30 would fit the bill nicely.

Do you have any US sailing or ASA certificates? Do you bareboat charter?

US Sailing Bareboat. I charter locally while I slowwwly hunt for a sailboat, mostly day sailing now.
