for dim sum this Saturday? It was really a delightful trip when we did it before. . . and incredibly cheap, too. I cannot remember ever tasting more interesting things for less money!
In order to whet your appetites, I am providing links to a number of "guides" to different dim sum dishes.
Take a look. . . the first link is interactive and lets you print out pictures of the ones you want to taste. The last one is the most descriptive. . . who knew that the ubiquitous "turnip cake" is actually made with shredded daikon radish? I dislike turnips so have never tried it. But I do like radishes so I now look forward to it.
I will eat a phoenix talon in public if it will get more people to come. (Hey, the last time I was in Hong Kong I ate jellyfish and pickled pigs feet. .)
