Monday Morning After Easter walk at John Chestnut Park

One lap around this lovely park is 2.5 miles.

We will be walking along the Nature Boardwalk Trail. Bring your camera because this trail will offer many photo ops. It gives us a chance to get up close and personal with some local birds, plants and possibly a gator or two. The boardwalk will end and we will be walking on a dirt trail for part of our trip as well as through some grass. I suggest closed toe shoes for this event and bringing bug spray is probably a good idea.

Here are some of the photos that I took the last time I walked this park.

Please meet at the Volleyball Courts at 9:00 AM. They are located on the left side before shelter #10. The entrance to the Nature Boardwalk Trail is right there.

Love that park! That board walk entrance is way at the other end of the park. Take an extra few minutes. Low speed limit.
