LJC Festive Un-Party!

LJC Festive Un-Party!

Come one, come all and join us for the LJC festive un-party. It will be on the 29th January at the Village Hall in Shoreditch. The refreshments are being sponsored by our good friends Atlassian.

This will be something a little different to our usual LJC events and will include a combination of open mic style presentations, lightning talks and a few surprises.

We are also going to be getting in the party mood with something a bit new in the shape of blind-ignite talks… If you are unfamiliar with the concept - in ignite talks each speaker gets 5 minutes, and must use 20 slides with each slide advancing automatically after 15 seconds, forcing speakers to get to the point, fast. We're going to spice this up by giving the presenter little or no time to prepare for the talk. Meaning that a senior speaker will be tasked with giving an ignite presentation that they haven't seen before.

We'll also be having an update on what's been happening with Adopt-a-JSR, the LJC Book club and all the other things that go on within the LJC.

Please note:

This event is being held at Shoreditch Village Hall, 33 Hoxton Square, London, N1 6NN - http://shoreditchworks.com/shoreditch-village-hall

Enjoyed the night. Had a lot of fun and liked the light-hearted atmosphere. Though, thought the rules on the final game could be worked on. But a great laugh all round and nice informal way to meet like minds.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
