Repeat of our first event - The Agile / XP game using Lego

  • Needs a date

  • Agile software development refers to a group of software development methodologies based on iterative development, where requirements and solutions evolve through collaboration between self-organizing cross-functional teams. Most UK development teams now rely on Agile principles to run software development projects. This exercise aims to introduce a few of these principles through gameplay that are used in practise, such as Pull mechanisms and Continuous Improvement. It will also introduce participants to the working dynamics of an Agile team.

The session is aimed at beginners to Agile and to those with experience with Agile and XP. Newcomers will gain a useful understanding of the processes mechanics and some of the real world issues they may face in adoption. The session is strongly recommended to all attendees with interests in becoming Developers, QA?s, Analysts, Project Managers & Business Analysts alike. Hi guys

These would be awesome. Especially if workshops will touch management of large scale projects. I'm wondering for example how projects like Open JDK can be manage effectively?

I will help you as much as I can to make it happen.

If these happen, then I will bring few of my clasemates along with me. I hope they will be also interested of this topic, as we have now Software Engineering module and guess what? next week we have lecture focus on agile :).

    Cheers

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
