Re: [java-191] New Meetup: May Groovy / Grails Meeting - May 11th

Hi Jean,

I am reading up a bit on metaprogramming capabilities in groovy and would be glad to share my experience esp how it compares to other languges like lisp, python and javascript.

Since Greg is talking about plugin architecture on May 11th meetup, perhaps I could talk about meta stuff the meetup after that..

cheers,
Numan

Announcing a new Meetup for The New York Groovy / Grails Meetup Group!

What: May Groovy / Grails Meeting

When: May 11,[masked]:15 PM

Where: Click the link below to find out!

Meetup Description:

We are still looking for more speakers, but in absence of volunteers I can give a talk about Grails Plugin architecture, or Groovy's metaprogramming capabilities (i.e. ExpandoMetaClass, Categories, etc).

It would be good to have a few people volunteer to give brief demos of plugins they found useful or any other topics you feel are useful.

Cheers,

Jean
