I wanted to see what other gaming groups in the area are doing. I want to put my life energy into bringing new gamers to the hobby. I have extensive gamer credentials, and want to help promote the hobby.
It entirely depends on who I am playing with. I have an extensive game collection, so can always find something appropriate to play, and I'm always interested in learning new games. I'm generally not as interested in the games my grandparents played.
Now that I've attended a meeting - I'm sure glad a I did. Had a great time with a wonderful group of laid back and relaxed gamers. Thanks!
A relaxed atmosphere, good times, lots of variety in games, and some great, funny, and smart people. Yeah!
Where the heck are you Man? :)
RPGs are my Background.. I got into board games recently. It's funny to see you and Jarad together.. My different worlds are colliding!
Ya, Euchre is a pretty easy game.. I learned it in college.
Hey Russell, Tom H Here. I have been busy working a second job, so can't make it to my games nights very often. They usually need me on Thursday. OOps, just got my schedule, have to work again this Thursday. I plyed settlers of catan online. I managed to lose to the computers set on imbecile. I tried pl;aying dominion, but you can't seem to play with just the base set or mostly the base set, so I gave up on that.
THanks Russell for the info on other groups. My husband will have a different schedule in August, so I'm sure we'll be able to get together then.
Thanks for the welcome and it is very apparent to me that at this time I will not be able to participate. I am going to unjoin this group until some time int he future. And thanks for your efforts in creating an alternative for play!
Hello All Gamers - I am so excited about the meetup tomorrow, will be there and be ready to have a good time. Thanks for the invitation.
Hi Russsell, thanks, this will be a great group, but I'm also going through a Masters program for Mental Health Counselor, so i will have to work the two in.
Looking forward to meeting you, Kathy
