This event is a special tribute to the unique and wonderful regional cuisine of Louisiana, and our chosen venue is Acadiana, which offers the flavors, culture and the warmth of the seductive southern cuisineThis restaurant offers the perfect balance of the old and the new taking advantage of the rich bounty found in the Mississippi Delta, Bayous and the Gulf of Mexico.

Chef Jeff Tunks cherishes his years working in New Orleans. In September 2005, he opened Acadiana to celebrate the bounty of Louisiana. Featuring the finest of seafood and premium meats, he and Executive Chef Brant Tesky employ various cooking techniques from the colorful ethnic areas spanning southern Louisiana, serving up the rich and complex flavors - the roux, the rémoulades, the bisques, and the étouffées, for which the region is known. Acadiana's contemporary décor captures the atmosphere of warm breezes and mysterious swamps.

So join in, for an evening of Southern warmth, and delightful Cajun and Creole food recipes paired with a great selection of wine list as we raise a glass and toast a tribute to the unique and wonderful cuisine of Louisiana.

Great event! BTW, heard on NPR that George RR Martin turns 65 today. Hope he finishes the story soon!

Great food, impressive cocktails, beautifull ambience and sharing the evening with a group of familiar faces and new ones made it a fun interesting night of enjoying one of my favorite cuisines.

I'm here really early. I'll see if I can find a spot at the bar.

I imagine I will be running late -- I had someone stopping by between 4 and 5 and it is now 6 and they are still 2 miles away. Given my druthers I would be leaving for the metro now but I said I would wait.

To those that have RSVP's as an "Yes", Please remember to update your RSVP if your plans of attending has changed. There are members on the waiting list, and late cancellations will only deny others of a spot to attend.

Looking forward to seeing you all. This is a great restaurant for savoring Cajun & Creole food from Louisiana and the ambiance has a southern feel of warmth to it.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
