Brilliant colors inspire this "Phillips after 5" event in celebration of Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden.
Small bites, Nordic cheeses and beers from the region are also featured.
We are once again headed to our favorite Arts event in DC where the Northern lights through an aurora borealis-inspired light show will be on display regardless of the weather outside.
The evening festivities will also include an electro-acoustic jazz performance and the ethereal sounds of the theremin.
A series of short Nordic films, including “Solecito” inspired by artist Olafur Eliasson’s Little Sun project will be screened at 6:30 & 7:30 pm.
The tickets are only $12 per person and you will need to buy them online for this event unless you are already a member of the Phillips collection -
We have no limits on the RSVP's for this event so you can even invite a friend.
For those that plan to join early, we will meet between 5:30 - 5:45 pm at the Cafeteria (next to the Gift shop) before heading to the Music room.
Also from our previous experience of doing this event, some members prefer to join in at their own convenient time so we will post the details of our location a few days prior to the event as there are different events going on during the course of the evening.
