Lets toast to "Belle Époque"

With walls bathed in pumpkin and pomegranate tones, and sun pouring through the skylight ceiling, Le Chat Perche, the Wine lounge atop Le Chat Noir restaurant, pays homage to vintage wine making and a retrospect to art nouveau and silent films.

Catering to your whims and tantalizing your senses, this great bistro offers a warm atmosphere to unwind with a impressive wine list carefully selected from organically grown grapes and a great food menu to pair with.

It is the only place in the capital where you can sip a Saint Emilion Grand Cru while watching silent images of Greta Garbo or Gloria Swanson on a movie screen.

On this special evening, the restaurant owners Sam & Marie who were inspired by "Belle Époque" movement and their love for bringing a great bistro experience to its customers, will share their inspiration of Art Nouveau and provide us with some creative ideas on pairing their wine list with great appetizers and international cheese/charcuterie collection on the menu.

We do have to limit this great event to only 8 people, so please be responsible when you RSVP. We may also given preference to wait-list people with a good attendance history when spots open up.

With a week to go for this event, looking forward to it. Also If you are new to this group, We ask members to confirm their RSVP by replying in the Comments section. Since we limit our events to a smaller group, we try to avoid no-shows as much as possible. If there is no response, we may offer your spot to someone else on the wait list who we think is more likely to attend based on past attendance history. This is a wonderful place, with interesting ambiance, art history and a great list of Organic wines & French food menu, to try out !

This sounds great! I can't tell by the map if it's metro-accessible. Anyone know?

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
