We at Grapes And Grains believe in learning and tasting wine, beer and whiskey in an unpretentious and fun atmosphere. We're open to anyone interested in tasting whether they are a novice or a connoisseur (newbies, enthusiasts, wine snobs, and cork dorks welcome).

Our objective is simple: organize affordable, fun tastings and food pairing events in diverse, convenient locations in the Washington DC Metro area to allow our members to learn and enjoy quality wine, beer and whiskey in a casual atmosphere. We seek to combine quality tasting experience with a fun social atmosphere.

For 2013, we have planned wine, beer and whiskey tastings, wine-paired dinners, winery trips, and based on various suggestions, and the fact that most of our diverse members are lovers of the Arts, to venture a little beyond wine and food pairings to supporting our local DC Arts (Jazz, Opera, Local Theatre, Art Galleries, Dc Nerd nights, etc.)

Our focus is on both learning about Grapes and Grains and having fun. Our motto is simply "find your grape or grain !" So join our group, attend one of our events, and be part of the adventure.
