Graph Café: football & graph lightning talks

Just like last year, we we are hosting another Graph Café this year in June. Because we liked last year's location a lot, and because some of our community members are attending Goto Amsterdam which is held nearby, we are returning to the lovely Brewery De Prael for an evening among graphistas.

The evening will be a little special, as the Dutch football team will be playing the Australian team. Therefore, we will split the night up into two parts:

• at 6pm, we will have a big screen at the Brewery for those of you that are interested to watch the game.

• at 8pm we will start a nice networking event with all graphistas, the real Graph Café. We will stay at the brewery, taste some beer, and listen to a couple of lighting talks by Ian Robinson (co-author of the Graph Databases book), Michael Hunger (author of a recent German book on Neo4j, among many other things), and some others. If you are interested in giving a lightning talk, then please reach out to rik [at] neotechnology [dot] com or through the meetup site.

Looking forward to seeing you there!

Hi all, I hope you don't mind me promoting this weekend's iBeacon Hackathon. GlimwormBeacons and Sanoma and Appsterdam are running the Hackathon at VondelCS and the Amsterdam Economic Board have donated a GOOGLE GLASS as a prize. We are looking not only for programmers but all sorts of skills to make an iBeacon prototype this weekend. If you can come the link is here Regards
