Graph Databases in practice: importing data, and developing apps

Summer is almost over, and we hope that everyone had a great time. With the new season, we also want to start doing our regular meetups again, and in this first setup we have two very practical topics that we want to cover:

Importing data: most users want to get started with a graph database like Neo4j need to import data. Many people struggle with this, and that's why Rik will give a very practical overview and demonstration of how to approach this.

Developing apps: once you have the data in the database, you want people to USE it, typically through an application. Ron will be talking about the tools available for this and walk through an example how you could get started doing this. We will show some code, write some code and if you want: share some code.

Before, between and after the talks, we will have a lot of opportunity to discuss and exchange ideas, of course.

Looking forward to seeing you all there!

Hi guys, just a small question: will there be some arrangement for food, either at the meetup or at the Polder? Thanks!

Erik - we are going to have some fingerfood, but no big meal. If you are very hungry, you can order at Polder or bring a sandwich :)
