People presenting their own uses and challenges

As I mentioned in our last meetup yesterday, my friend and I just launched a startup ( http://www.thethingdom.com/ ) for which we're using Neo4j. Someone mentioned I could/should talk about our experiences at a future meetup, and I'd love to do that as well as hear about other people's experiences. Would you all be interested in such a meetup, then?

I'm building an open source browser-based tool for modeling systems in terms in digital circuit schematic metaphors (i.e. graphs). There's some overlap.

Sorry for the delayed reply! But yep, we're using Node.js and Neo4j for The Thingdom.

We never got a chance to have this meetup, so don't worry, you haven't missed anything.

I've been thinking of creating a sample Node.js + Neo4j app for the Heroku challenge, based on the kinds of things we've done for The Thingdom. Hope I can get to it!

Would be awesome! I now see you are the nodejs & neo4j guy... is that what you're using for thethingdom? Anyway, too bad couldn't make it yesterday (was in San Francisco), but would definitively love to hear the story, and maybe share mine.

I'd prefer Seattle over east side fwiw

I can do 16th, 17th, 21st, 28th, 30th. I can also host if folks are willing to head out to Bellevue.

Is there are date in November that would work for everyone? I'm afraid if this slips into December that we may as well wait for January.

I've moved unfortunately (I'm in SF now), so I probably can't take part in this anymore, but good luck! There's a chance I'd come back up to Seattle for this if it did happen. =)

Awesome. Thanks Andreas, and everyone who's interested in attending. I don't really have the ability to host, so someone who does will probably need to drive the place and time. I'll come prepared with slides though!

(Just one request: my co-founder, Daniel Gasienica, is in Switzerland right now for a few more weeks, so it'd be awesome if this took place in mid-late October or after. I'll update this as we know more.)
