Introduction

Co-founder of The Thingdom ( http://www.thethi... ), a startup that aims to connect people around things the same way Foursquare connect people around places. We use Neo4j and run on Node.js.

Do you currently use graph databases?

Yep.

Have you used neo4j and if so which components?

Yep. REST, indexing, Cypher, and hope to learn Gremlin soon.

What neo4j topics would you like to do deep dives on?

Design around various scenarios, e.g. tagging, feeds/streams, indexing vs. traversing (when we should use one vs. the other); REST API improvements, e.g. optimistic concurrency support, indexing improvements, etc.

  • I am interested in a graph database for classical furniture from manufacturers around the world. With one ,major international cliient (not a five star hotel, but with needs very much like one). Main focus is to search on relationships and similar properties. Wanted to find out what you've ;leanred with Neo4j and how far you have advanced with "the thingdom". Let me know and then we can talk. Jim, Denver, CO
