Intro to Mobile App development and discussion about iPhone vs Android

We are now living in an App world. So let's get together to figure how to get in on the action.
Panelists include iPhone and Android developers including Uki Lucas, Lead Android Architect for Sears and Kmart and Founder of Chicago Android. We'll discuss what you need to know, how long does it take to learn, what are the advantages and disadvantages of the various platforms??? This is a joint Meetup and we're expecting a big group so no guests....thanks!

Interesting topic and speakers. It was an open question and answer session, but I would have like to see a little more structure in the beginning to introduce the topic.

The panel discussion was educational and touched on important considerations when deciding which platform to use.

We had a great crowd a nice mix of developers and designers and a very articulate and experienced panel.

Good discussion. I usually don't like panel discussions, but this one was well executed.

This intro to mobile platforms was excellent. The panel was definitely knowledgeable and cover beginner topics but also touched on deeper design or code issues. I enjoyed the discussion and met several people in the process.

I was really looking forward to attending, but was home sick and was unable to make it (am still sick), but hope you had a great discussion. I'm interested in reading other attendee comments.
