Jason Fried, the co-founder and President of 37signals, author of "Getting Real" and "Rework" will be speaking at Digital Bootcamp to Chicago Portfolio students about his company's SaaS business and the development of Ruby.

He has co-authored all of 37signals' books, including the upcoming, "Rework," as well as the 'minimalist manifesto,' "Getting Real: The Smarter, Faster, Easier Way to Build a Successful Web Application" He also helps to maintain the company's popular blog, Signal vs. Noise, and is regularly invited to speak around the world on entrepreneurship, design, management, and software.

    It was more geared towards design students than at working professionals in the industry. Jason did not talk about Ruby at all, but it was still a great opportunity to hear him speak. Looking forward to hearing more from this group!
