Hiking & Scrambling @Khajaguda

About place: Khajaguda also known as Khojaguda is a Village in serlingampally mandal of Hyderabad. It is part of the old city of Hyderabad. It is in the vicinity of the IT suburb manikonda. Kajaguda is 1 km away from West Durgam Cheruvu. This place has lot of boulders, a lake and numereous amazing caves. There are many peacocks on these rocks.

About Hike:

We will do some warm-ups and start hike which includes scrambling and basic bouldering.

What we do: Hiking, scrambling

Timing: 6.20 am to 9.30am [Approx]

Difficulty level: Beginner to moderate 

Things to bring: Sunscreen lotion, Sun Cap, Water, Camera, Snacks

Things not to bring: Any expensive phone, i-pods, watch and gadget

Persons with knee pain should avoid this trek

INSTRUCTIONS: Wear Full track pants and T-shirts (half sleeve or full sleeve) (no shorts or sleeveless / sando t-shirts allowed)

Wear sport and trekking shoes only

Water bottles - 1, it is must

Get fruits/juices/energy bar / something to munch on after and during the hike


Important Instructions -

1) No littering and No Sound Pollution.

2) We carry Basic First Aid and if you need anything you can ask the organizers

3) If you feel unwell bring to the notice of the organizers immediately.

4) Do not take unnecessary risks and always follow the organizers' directions

You are required to pay Rs.50 towards GHAC fund.

Please be on time at Meeting point by 6.15am
