Blood donation is one of the precious donation in our life. The blood you donate gives someone another chance at life. One day that Someone may be a close relative, a friend, a loved one—or even you Accidents and medical emergencies don’t take holidays—we need blood every minute, every day of the year.
Indian Development Foundation (IDF) is a leading national organization, registered under the Societies Registration Act of 1860 and the Bombay Public Trusts Act of 1950. Indian Development Foundation (formerly Indian Leprosy Foundation) has been rendering remarkable humanitarian service in the field of leprosy for over two decades.
IDF facilitates these voluntary blood donation camps for Osmania Hospital blood bank, Gandhi Hospital Blood bank, Government Maternity Hospital , Niloufer Hospital and MNJ cancer blood banks.
We are pleased to announce our tie up with Uber for the Blood Donation Camp on 15th August. Uber is offering 2 free rides on Independence Day (9 am to 5 pm) to the Blood Donation camp. All you need to do is download their app for free, register and enter a special promo code "DONATEHYD" created for this initiative. Rides are free for new as well as existing Uber riders.

Let’s celebrate this Independence day by giving life to someone needy! All members of GHAC their friends, relatives are invited to come forward and donate blood on this Independence day.
Blood will be collected by Gandhi Hospital, Hyderabad and will be given to the needy free of cost.
The camp will be held at:
GHAC Office, A.K Enclave,
Lane Next to Pizza Corner, Road No 3,
Banjara Hills, Hyderabad
TIME: 10 AM onwards.
Tea/Coffee, Biscuits, refreshments will be available for Donors.
For people donating Blood: Important Instructions
• Make sure you have not donated blood in the last 3 months
• You must be healthy, fit, and not suffering from a current illness in order to donate blood.
• Avoid donating blood if you have a cold, a cold sore, a cough, a virus, or an upset stomach.
• You must weigh at least 110 pounds or 50 kg.
• You must have had a meal (lunch/breakfast) few hours before donating blood.
• You must not consume any kind of intoxicants or alcohol within 72 hours of donating blood.
