GREAT STRIDES: Taking Steps to Cure Cystic Fibrosis is the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's largest national fundraising event. Tens of thousands of co-workers, friends and family come together each year as one community for one cause…to help find a cure for CF. In 2009, nearly $35 million was raised to support vital CF programs. For the first time in the history of the disease, the CF pipeline has therapies under development that target the root cause of cystic fibrosis, rather than just the symptoms. If successful, these therapies will add decades of life for people with CF. Join us in the South Bay to walk in Palo Alto, San Jose or Gilroy and help to raise funds to make CF stand for CURE FOUND!
