Looking for friendly, lively, and focused discussion of fiction, drama, and poetry, but not for long selections?  Then you'll enjoy our group.  We meet at the Bellevue Regional Library twice a month (1st and 3rd Wednesdays) from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. starting in October and running through June.

Most of our selections for the coming year can be found in Literature: A Portable Anthology edited by Janet E. Gardner, 2nd edition (note well: there are 3 editions, each with slightly different contents). It is available used online for a reasonable price. The texts can be found online or at the library as well.

Come join us in exploring and exchanging ideas!

October 7: "Oedipus Rex" by Sophocles

October 21: "The Cask of Amontillado" by Edgar Allan Poe

November 4: "An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge" by Ambrose Bierce

Note: If a meeting is canceled (for example, because of weather), then we'll move the discussion of that reading to the next meeting date, pushing all the other readings along as well.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
