Has anyone ever had to get an MRI for their great dane? If so, would you mind telling me where you went, if you felt (as good as possible) about the experience, and what it cost?

My Gracie had several tests done, including a brain and neck MRI, that resulted in a Wobblers diagnosis. She had a laminectomy to relieve the pressure in her spinal cord soon after. It has been six months since the surgery and she seems to have responded very well - still goofy and will never run "normally" but the happiest she's been and seems to be completely pain free.

We had all of this work done, along with a previous TPLO surgery for her torn ACL, by Dr. Steve Kerpsack at CTVSH. Dr. Kerpsack and his staff are absolutely amazing and went above and beyond to make sure she was comfortable and ready to go after every procedure. The MRI in particular was a day procedure. We dropped her off around 9 and picked up her by 4. She was groggy for the rest of the evening but everything went very smoothly. Good luck! Wishing Nicodemus the best!
