The NC Amendment One initiative looks like it will pass easily. With just under 50% of the vote tallied it is about 60-40 in favor. This is sad news. I am curious to see the voter demographic for those that turned out.

On a small bright side, over 7500 people voted on the libertarian Ballot. Assuming the typical primary turnout of about 35% that means the 14,000 registered Libertarians is a low estimate of actual voting libertarians.
