I hope I can make the discussion, but if not, I just want to say how interesting I found this selection. Thank you for introducing me to it. If the measure of a story is its ability to make the reader pause and think, then this collection succeeds admirably. Each story elicits some kind of reaction in the reader, whether it be surprise, laughter, puzzlement, joy, horror, sadness, or regret. Particular favorites are Teddy and For Esme With Love and Squalor. Great choice, Dennis!
