Our Asia Minor Heritage: A Presentation Sponsored by Prometheas

Despina Skenderis-Fourniades, the editor of the Mediterranean Quarterly Journal, will take us to Asia Minor, and lead a discussion of historic events which culminate in the 1922 catastrophe but run to the present. The presentation will be in English but I imagine much of the discussion will be in Greek and English (and who knows, Turkish).  This is event is sponsored by our friends at The Hellenic Society Prometheas.

Since the lecture is at 8 we may try to go to Yamas around 7 for dinner or drinks.

Thanks for posting this interesting presentation. I just wonder if any of you can advise me about the parking space in/around the church. I would like to drive but not sure about if parking is available. Thank you.

There is lots of parking at St. George, so that won't be a problem.

This looks like a very interesting lecture/discussion. Since this will be my first such event, please advise as to whether the discussion will take place in English or Greek. Thank you.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
