The event was lovely, and it was great meeting others of the meetup group at our table. The bouzouki group was fabulous and it was great watching so many people join in the dancing, which went on all evening. The volume of the band made conversation a tad difficult, but all in all, it was an extremely enjoyable evening. The mezedes were nice, but there seems to have been some agreement at our table that some fruit would have been a lovely finale to them. I would wholeheartedly recommend future events of this type to anyone looking for experiencing an authentically Greek taverna night! It was great fun, and my friend Frieda and I enjoyed it very much!

It was a fun night despite the mix up with our table and where we were seated. Ta leme!

Folks should contact Yianni about tickets, which are $50 per person. They are not selling tables, but we will try to sit together, etc. Ta leme!

Can we pay at the door or must we get tix ahead of time?

Yianni at church strongly urged getting tickets ahead of time. Or you can mail a check to St. Sophia and put Taverna Night on the envelope and memo line.
