hike in search of birds during spring break


Hike while enjoying some of High Rock parks best birding habitats. Explore the parks upland forest, ponds and lakes in search of the many migratory and residential bird species found on Staten Island. This is a free guided hike that will last approximately one hour. It is suggested that participants bring water, binoculars and wear proper footwear suitable for moderate- easy hiking.  This program is suitable for adults and children ages 7 and up.  Meet at lower parking lot at High Rock park (top of Nevada Avenue).   Registration required.
