Birding By Ear 101 Returns
Saturday, February 23rd @ 2:00pm
Ever heard a bird singing and wondered who you were listening to? Learning to identify birds by their songs can make bird identification easier and more accurate. Identification by song is easier than by sight in situations where visibility is reduced by light, vegetation, or other factors.
Additionally, several apparently identical species of birds can be differentiated only by voice. This class will cover 10 birds common to our area and will conclude with a short walk to practice.
Free to members/free to non-members after regular admission
