Loved the folk music, really inspired me. I came home & wrote a song I am taking to sing at the Anti-fracking Rally in Nashville on Wed.
THANKS Megan & Barb for coordinating this event.

What a privilege to be among such nice folks.... We heard some bad jokes, wonderful stories, sweet and inspiring music, and more than a few kick-ass letters advocating for energy-efficiency from a personal perspective... drum-box and all.

Some very important work done, connections made...THANKS to EVERYONE who contributed there energy to this event, whether you got caught in the rain--or--made a promise to complete another draft of your letter and send it my way (Don't forget to write it, now)(I'm waiting!).

Great meetup, I enjoyed the music and storytelling! Letter writing is a great step. I would like to see a group collaboration to develop a petition on Change.org, Moveon.org, or other online democratic petition resource. Also, everyone is invited to attend the meetup hosted by my group to discuss the Hill City Community Garden project. You can learn more about "Chattanooga Compost Soil Share and Community Garden Meetup" and the event details for Tuesdays meetup at http://www.meetup.com/Chattanooga-Compost-Soil-Share-and-Community-Garden-Meetup/. Additionally, the crowd-funding and volunteer resource campaign for the Hill City project is at http://www.causeway.org/cause/view/hill-city-community-compost. In regards to energy efficiency for this neighborhood I am trying to work with Aries Solar, Irby Electrical Distribution, and hopefully EPB to install energy efficient systems to save money and electricity for this North Chatt neighborhood.

Megan, I will be there to help with my husband Jim. Barb told me to be there about 3:15 to help you as a rep from the Sierra Club.
