Meetup Description: You are invited to EarthCare's Creation Care Workshop GROWING NATIVE! The workshop will be held at the Humphreys House at Reflection Riding Arboretum & Botanical Gardens in Chattanooga, TN on Saturday, March 21, 2009 from 9:30am - 2:00pm.

GROWING NATIVE! will include a program on learning to identify exotic, invasive plants and how to replace them with natives. The workshop will be led by Dave Hopkins, Executive Director of Reflection Riding. Following the program, participants will have an opportunity to participate in a service project, identifying and removing non-native plants at Reflection Riding. If you wish to evict invasive plants, please wear work clothes and bring gloves.

Reflection Riding is located just ten minutes from downtown Chattanooga. Take I-24 west toward Nashville/Birmingham. Exit at Brown's Ferry Road (Exit 175) and make a left at the traffic light (toward Lookout Mountain). At the next traffic light (Cummings Highway), turn left. Proceed a little less than a mile and take the first right following the signs for Reflection Riding and the Chattanooga Nature Center. Once you arrive look for the EARTHCARE signs.
