I wonder if you could give us some tips / leads - for main Sponsor to pay for SOLAR PANELS for a Riverbend giveaway!! Every year there's a Truck or Boat given away or raffled at Riverbend. This year, we're wanting to add a HOME SOLAR SYSTEM to that group! Here's the information:
The Cherokee Sierra Club (Chatta club) is looking to connect a Media Sponsor / Solar Installer / ANOTHER SPONSOR - to create a Riverbend Giveaway of a SOLAR SYSTEM (2 kw) for a[masked] sq ft house.
Thomas Tripp (solar provider in Chattanooga) has said he would provide free labor and provide the system parts at cost ($15,000). The WDEF Radio family would provide tons of publicity about the giveaway mentioning the other two sponsors. And there's be tons of publicity / possibly some tent space at Riverbend, etc.
We're talking to Susan Baker / PR for Friends of the Festival, Don Sharp, general manager of Riverbend, and Cathy Jennings who does PR / Tent Space, etc. When we find all the participants, Riverbend will draw up the contracts. Susan put us in touch with the 4 WDEF radio stations including Sunny and The Mountain. We contacted Thomas Tripp and he agreed to do the labor. Whoever the last sponsor is would much free publicity / advertising.
Do any of you - some have been environmentally conscious for many years - do you have any suggestions on who we should contact for that 3rd sponsor??????
We're looking for either a group or company or individual to step up and contribute to GREENING RIVERBEND with HOUSE SOLAR GIVEAWAY. This could include Chattanooga Association of Realtors, Homebuilders Association, Individual who cares about environment, green builder, or anyone who you might know who would love to be involved with this project.
I appreciate what you can do - let me know of any ideas. Email me at: [address removed]
Thanks again and Blessings,
Tami Freedman Cherokee Sierra Board of Directors [address removed] [masked]
