I run a small business and community development firm which assists the growth and development of small businesses and NGOs. As an independent community organizer and social/environmental justice advocate, I assist communities with procuring resources and becoming more sustainable.
I live and work in social/environmental justice communities in northern New Jersey.
I want to build community and help organizations learn to advocate around sustainability, environmental justice and empowering local communities.
I've mentored quite a few people, and currently mentor the leaders of the Bergen Community College NAACP and NJ State level NAACP Youth and College Division.
Reducing consumption – of energy, gas and disposable items – is a big thing for us. Responsible waste handling is another area we're committed to: we responsible recycle even electronic waste, compost and are careful about packaging. We recycle, reuse and share what we learn with friends and colleagues.
My family works on creating positive change in social/environmental justice communities by utilizing sustainability concepts and sound environmental, community building and small business development practices.
