The recent changes to the way Meetup.com works have prompted many long-time Meetup organizers to relocate their groups to other sites. This group is designed to help Meetup users locate and connect with these non-Meetup groups.
We believe that competition is good, both for non-Meetup and Meetup members. We can help ensure that Meetup.com becomes more responsive to both organizers and users by making sure that there are good and easy to find options elsewhere.
In the near future we will be providing links to non-Meetup groups in the greater Las Vegas valley. We will also provide forums to help users learn about these alternative sites and provide assistance when we can. We will not promote one site over another - Meetup users deserve to choose for themselves.
