Twisted is a powerful event-driven framework for Python. Trenton Broughton will help us explore some of the possible use cases for using Twisted, as well as some of the common pitfalls. If you have an app that needs to deal with multiple protocols (e.g. IRC, SMTP, XMPP) simultaneously, or deals with user events through WebSockets or something similar, it may be time to join the Asynchronous Club.
Also, Dave Brondsema will show us how to receive signals in Python, and gracefully restart a daemon.
