Code Lab Descriptions
Rapid Prototyping - Nowadays, there are literally hundreds upon hundreds of devices. These devices come with different capabilities and constraints, such as input style or screen size, resolution and form. We can no longer design with only desktop in mind. We need to rapidly prototype for multiple devices to see if our designs fly on four-corner screens of different sizes. We'll take you through solutions using Foundation, our CSS/HTML/JS framework, to quickly prototype sites and web apps that work on any device, at any resolution, with a variety of capabilities and constraints. We'll also take you through the whys and hows of the decisions we make along the way.
Android + Robotics sounds like an obvious match! In this talk Elad will discuss strategies and code examples. You can even meet his friend, a Walking Robot.
StartupWeekend Pitch Workshop - Ahmed Siddoqui has earned invaluable experience guiding startup teams through large scale events like Mega, Demo, and Launch. He plans to give a short talk and then work individually with the teams on their final pitch!

Great questions. 1- Its open to GTUGsf members, so click join! Membership is free. -2- Most teams will be formed tonight and Saturday morning. We do not discourage bringing your team, though only new hacks are eligible for (sweet) prizes.
June 28
Hi, this is open to the general public right? Not just for the people attending Google IO? Also do you think many teams will be formed impromptu, or would coming with a team formed be a requirement? Thanks!
June 26
Hi Phil, I think so! If you join a team, you should be upfront that you can only hack for one day. Come to Hack, or Come to take the Code Labs. Either way, Saturday is going to be a fun day. We hope to see you there!

Confused from England: When I registered for the event it looked like it was just Saturday. My mistake? Maybe? Anyway I'm just wondering if it is still worth me getting involved for just the one day...
Opinions please!
Phil.
