It presents basic Buddhist philosophy and principles within the Tibetan Mahayana context, and provides simple meditation instruction. We will look at the history of Buddhism and the life Shakymuni Buddha, as well as his main discovery of the human condition, the four noble truths. Also, we will discuss the primary feature of the Mahayana Tradition, the Bodhichitta motivation, the wish to liberate all sentient beings from cyclic existence.

    Good morning Matt,
I just wanted to drop a line and say thank you for last night’s class. It was really informative, interesting, and I’m really excited to learn more.
Two quick questions if you don’t mind: 1. is there any reading material you would recommend? And 2. Is it possible to sit and chit-chat with you; I have a few questions and i didn’t want to interrupt you last night, especially since they were kind of off topic.

Thank you for your time and take care,
