In this class, we'll explore the nature of the Buddha's teachings on karma. "Karma" is a Sankrit word meaning "action." The teachings on karma explain the nature of cause and effect--how our actions affect us and others in the future. We'll look at how to determine if a karmic action is positive or negative, the various kinds of results that come from our actions, and the nature of karma as a natural law of the universe--like gravity. We will also engage in spiritual practices designed to purify and transform karma. These methods will share essential wisdom for dealing with challenges and taking control of our own future!
