music makes money brunch! (to be rescheduled!)

*hi all!  please note that this brunch will be rescheduled for a later date!  thank you!*

hi fellow guitarists!

Is your music making you money?  If it is, could it be more?

Why am I asking this?  Since I've released my album, friends have called me for advice on getting their careers to the next level.  I'm saddened that many people feel a sense of resignation about ever being able to "make it", or that they're depending on some fantasy manager or record label to create their career for them.  I know that it is possible and it can make you very happy to live your dream!!!  I don't have a label, or manager, or fancy connections... but I'm working with a business coach to train my business skills, just like I learned my guitar skills from a guitar teacher. Ultimately, my experience has been that we have the power to create our music careers ourselves with skills we already have, if we just understand how to make money.

I'm extremely grateful for the path I'm on now, but as many of you know, I had to learn the bitter way, by experience.  As I'm speaking with more and more musicians, I'm realizing how grossly unfair many of you, like me, have been treated.  The solution is to get great business training now to those who want to go further with their music as soon as possible.

I'm connecting our group with Diane Bliss, my business coach who has already done wonders for my professional career.  She has changed many negative views I used to have about money and business, and replaced them with the knowledge of how to be my own best advocate.  The result is that I'm embracing my first international TV interview, my first tour, and am able to fully pursue my passion.

We'll meet this Sunday at Sidewalk Café for our first ever event to connect musicians with professional business coaches!  Because I'm asking two extremely successful, international business coaches to come and share their expertise with our group, I'm also asking $10 for the event to secure your RSVP.  It does not cover the cost of food/drink, but Sidewalk Cafe is very reasonably priced.

We'll also set up a one-year program to train musicians to move their careers forward.  If you know someone who is ready to have a professional music career and could just use the business training to get there, please invite them to this brunch!

Please contact me if you have any questions at [masked] and[masked]

I'm really excited about this event and am looking forward to seeing you there!!!

Hello - this event sounds great! Can you expand or elaborate more on the one year training program for musicians to move their career forward you mentioned you'd be setting up please? Do you mean solo one to one coaching? What is it's cost and how does it work? Thanks so much!!

Hi Sarah! Thanks for reaching out!!! We're going to offer both a one-year training program for people who are talented musicians who just need the business tools to take off. We will also connect people with professional business coaches who want private training. At the event, we'll go over any questions you have, and figure out what works for each person individually, because each person will have a different path, and different needs.

Cost wise- we'll figure it out individually too, but it will be fair, and the program will be comprehensive.

Steve- you seriously make my day. Thanks so much and we will definitely keep this going. It's our job to empower each other and create a strong creative community.
