Dear fellow guitarists,
Just in case you were thinking of staying home today with the rain, I want to encourage you to come to the open mic! What happens when you come out to a meetup? Everyone has more fun!!! The best meetups are when there's a buzz of energy in the room and a good crowd to play for. We need you! Even if: - you're a total absolute beginner or have never even played guitar - you have nothing prepared to play - your hair looks positively awful with the humidity (I know, I know...) ... your presence at the open mic is what makes this group valuable. The only good reason I can think of to stay home is that you're actually the Wicked Witch of the West and water causes you to melt! Otherwise- we're looking forward to a great meetup tonight, and you're the one who gives this group its strength. Enjoy your week to the fullest and see you soon! -Emily |
