I want to thank everyone that came on the hike today. You were all great. We finished earlier than we ever had before...2:42 PM. The credit goes to all of you. Thanks to everyone who took turns sweeping...Bruce, Dave, Larry, Patrick. Thanks to all the drivers. Thanks to Cliff and Marty for helping me with my backpack. We beat the rain and had great weather for this hike. It was a pleasure to hike with each and every one of you.

Gary, thanks for a wonderful day out in some beautiful weather. I always enjoy both the beauty of the Letchworth gorge and the challenge of meeting a personal goal of fitness. I watched you pass the baton to Patrick. Not to regret as I look forward to following on other hikes throughout Monroe County. Larry

A personal best! The longest I'd hiked before this was 8 miles. Thanks so much to Gary for leading this and keeping a pace conducive to completing the whole route! I thoroughly enjoyed the gorgeous fall weather and coloring, not to mention the company. I think we're all rock stars!

    1. Be at park and ride by 7:00. If you get there at 7:10 you may
    not find us.
    2. Be hydrated.
    3. Bring plenty of water, gatorade, or other health drink.
    4. Bring healthy, nutritious snacks.
    5. Bring a healthy lunch.
    6. Bring a fresh pair of socks to change into at lunch.
    7. This is a carry in/carry out park. You are responsible for your
    own trash.
    8. Be prepared for changes in weather.
    9. Please be sure you are able to handle this hike.

Of course these are all merely suggestions.

Jayne....the hike has never ended later than 3:30. In June we finished at 3:05. Then there is the drive back to the park and ride.

Also there are more people coming Saturday than I have had before. That could factor into the finishing time too. But then again, anyone on this hike can handle it.

Glad to see a lot of sign-ups. More people to slog me thru the final two miles. LOL.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
