Turning Point Park - Charlotte Pier Hike

Moderate 6 mile hike.

Meet in the Turning Point Park lot at the end of Boxart Street, off Lake Avenue. (Click on "map" above for location and directions).

    Being able to stop at the Port building is a perfect 1/2 way point. Gives everyone a chance to take a "break" inside.

    Did the hike today - about 6.5 miles. Probably will not need crampons unless it does get icy. It was slushy in spots, puddles in spots.... but all that may change depending on what the weather does tonight! There was construction down at the ferry terminal so we'll have to go up to Lake Ave for a short time to get around the fenced off areas. See ya tomorrow!
