Many faiths around the world from Buddhist, Shamans to Pagans use altars to pay respect to a special deity, god/goddess, or other spiritual being.
Altars are also used for meditations, ceremonies, focusing energy and other purposes. Creating an altar can help create a sacred space in your home, garden, and perhaps office.
In this workshop you can expect to learn the following: How to set up a permanent or portable altar; Placement of candles and other items on the altar; Different types of altars to make corresponding to the Wheel of the Year, Pentacle, and the Medicine Wheel.
You will also learn to make 4 altar candles from rolled beeswax symbolizing the four elements: fire, earth, water, and air. You will get to take the four candles you created home with you.
